The lock is always the most important feature on any gun safe. The Liberty 64 Gun Safe RV64-BZT-E-DP uses a UL rated high security electronic lock made by SecuRam. SecuRam is one of the only three electronic lock companies I recommend due to their longevity, quality and reliability.

This model is the Toplit which features a red light on the top of the keypad for seeing in the dark. The lock was tested and survived an EMP test with no issues. Protecting the lock internally is a hard plate and internal re-locker. These are one solid piece and offer significantly more pry resistance than the traditional round bolts. When combined with the 14 gauge steel unibody construction this safe is extremely tough.

It exceeds the CA DOJ Gun Safe requirements and overall is significantly more secure than most safes. Finally, a drill-bit destorying ball bearing hard plate is placed in-between the steel door and internal lock body. The Liberty Revere Gun Safe comes with a 60 minute fire rating at 1200 degrees. They also use genuine Palusol Fire seals which are the highest quality seals. They expand to 7 times their size during a fire to keep smoke and heat out.

Style and Function

The Liberty Revere 64 Gun Safe features a very nice textured bronze paint. Hardware includes a black chrome 3-spoke handle and keypad. Overall the styling is simple and looks good compared to the imported textured paint jobs.

The interior features carpeting. The split gun rack, adjustable side shelving and top shelf includes a plastic trim. The back of the door features a handy door panel organizer capable of storing pistols, documents, knives, passports and more.
