“Too shallow for anything modern. Not satisfied with this purchase, padded rack is too high and cabinet is way too shallow for any modern firearm. Inner depth is 8.5 “ which is useless for me. Updated star rating to 1, sellers return label is straight back to China, don’t deal with this seller.”

What do you know, another random Chinese company selling a poor quality, thin steel cabinet with a low quality lock and advertising it as a strong and secure gun safe. The Atripark Biometric 5 Gun Safe has the exact same quality issues as the Barska biometric gun safe, Holojoy, BBRKIN, DISMIO and every other random Chinese named company. In this review, I will help reiterate why this is a poor quality product that you should avoid at all costs.
First and always most important is the lock. This is the same cheap, low quality biometric lock nearly all of the low quality importers use. It is a Solenoid Lock that operates with a biometric scanner. Quality control issues are most obvious in the programming of the safe, scanner issues where anyones fingerprint will open the safe and having the batteries on the inside. The reset button to program the lock is also unprotected and can easily be accessed with a coat hanger by inserting it into the seams of the cabinet and pressing it to be able to program any code you want without the owner knowing. Nearly every 1 star review mentions some issue with the lock and when it comes to safes, the lock is always the most important feature. If it doesn’t open, what good is it?
Speaking of locks, if the battery dies on the Atripark Biometric 5 Gun Safe, you must use the override key or an external battery pack to open it and access the internal battery compartment on the back of the door. A major downgrade from their electronic version is that the Atripark Biometric 5 Gun Safe uses a tubular override key to access the safe when the batteries die. These tubular locks can quickly and easily be opened with a BIC pen and there are dozens of Youtube videos showing just how easy it is. This isn’t just not secure but extremely dangerous as a BIC pen is a common household item that every kid would think to use if they were attempting to break into this kind of lock.
Next, the Atripark Biometric 5 Gun Safe doesn’t mention the steel thickness used on the cabinet but considering it is 99 lbs in shipping weight, I would estimate it comes with 14 gauge steel which is standard for a security cabinet of this size and category. It claims to have a 3-point locking system with 5 small bolts located on the top, bottom and side of the door however in all pictures it only shows three bolts on the door side. Whether it has three or five bolts, this will not prevent any thief with a screwdriver and a hammer from accessing it but will prevent a small child from opening it with their hands. If not bolted down, this 99 lb cabinet could easily be picked up and taken away to be opened at a more convenient time.
Atripark uses an all steel interior with no carpeting which makes it all too easy to scratch and damage your firearms when placing them in the cabinet. With its internal hinge, the interior depth is reduced from 13.5″ to less than 10″ making it nearly impossible to fit any modern firearm in the straight line access advertised. Add in the useless internal compartment and it’s obvious this is a poorly designed interior.
All in all, the Atripark Biometric 5 Gun Safe is not a product I would recommend and suggest you go with a stronger gun safe such as the Stealth EGS14, Liberty Centurion 12 or American Security TF5517.
